Four Killed in Head-On Collision Between CNG Auto-Rickshaw and Motorcycles in Brahmanbaria

A tragic head-on collision between a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw and motorcycles in Rampur, Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria, resulted in the deaths of four people.

The accident occurred on Sunday (3 August) at approximately 5:10 pm.

Incident Details:

According to eyewitnesses, two motorcycles were travelling towards Dhaka when, near Rampur, one of the motorcycles collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. Subsequently, the second motorcycle lost control and crashed into both the auto-rickshaw and the first motorcycle.

The collision was severe, and all four individuals involved died instantly at the scene.

Official Statement:

Md. Jahangir Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khathihata Highway Police Station, stated that the highway police are currently investigating the incident. The identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.
