Professor Dr. M Aminul Islam, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Education, is set to be sworn in as an adviser to the interim government.
The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Bangabhaban on Wednesday, March 5, according to sources.
Dr. Aminul Islam brings a strong academic background to his new role. He previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and was a faculty member in the Department of Physics at Rajshahi University before that.
