During his address, the parliamentarian expressed concern over local youths who clear written recruitment tests but fail during viva voce assessments. He urged jobseekers to bring their examination admit cards to him as soon as results are published. Rahman assured the crowd that he would personally make phone calls on behalf of candidates who pass the written stage to help them secure employment through official channels.

Framing his stance around public welfare, Rahman explained that assisting residents with employment and medical needs remains a cornerstone of his social service efforts. He urged impoverished families facing severe health issues to reach out to him directly, pledging to arrange affordable, quality medical treatment for them in Dhaka. However, the MP issued a stern warning against financial corruption and middleman culture. He stated unequivocally that if any applicant attempts to offer bribes or use paid intermediaries to seek his recommendation, their candidature will be cancelled immediately. He emphasised that he maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding bribery and personal financial gain.

The public gathering in Itna drew prominent political figures and legal professionals from the district. Attendees included Supreme Court lawyer and former vice-president of Kishoreganj District BNP Advocate Umme Kulsum Rekha, Itna Upazila BNP President SM Kamal Hossain, General Secretary Siddiquzzaman Thakur Swapan, Senior Vice-President and Union Parishad Chairman Monir Uddin, and Enamul Haq Molla, personal assistant to the Member of Parliament, alongside local activists and residents.
