Music and Activism Combine in Los Angeles for Sudan and Palestine Relief

Mustafa has announced an exciting line-up for his upcoming Artists For Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles. Slated for January 10, 2026, this charity event is set to be a night of incredible live performances, all in the name of supporting vital humanitarian relief efforts for Sudan and Palestine. The event, which will raise funds for the Sudanese Americans Physicians Association and the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, will feature a truly star-studded list of performers, making it one of the most anticipated events of the year.

In a move that highlights the depth of his commitment to activism, Mustafa has curated a show that brings together artists from a wide range of genres. Among the confirmed performers are Clairo, Lucy Dacus, Geese, and the man of the hour himself, Mustafa. However, the line-up doesn’t stop there. Fans can also look forward to performances from some of the biggest and most influential musicians today, including Alex G, Blood Orange, Daniel Caesar, Faye Webster, Jazmine Sullivan, Noname, Noor Hindi, Omar Apollo, Raphael Saadiq, Ravyn Lenae, Rex Orange County, Safia Elhillo, Shawn Mendes, Snoh Aalegra, Tamino, and 070 Shake.

This diverse group of artists reflects the eclectic nature of Mustafa’s musical taste and his desire to bring together talent from across genres and backgrounds for a common cause. With such a varied line-up, the event promises to deliver something for every type of music lover, from indie rock fans to R&B enthusiasts and beyond.

The concert will be hosted by two high-profile figures: actor Pedro Pascal, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones and The Mandalorian, and supermodel Bella Hadid, both of whom have long been outspoken advocates for humanitarian causes. Their involvement in the event ensures that it will receive significant attention from the public, and they will no doubt help draw even more fans to the cause.

The benefit concert is not just about raising money, though. It also aims to raise awareness about the ongoing crises in Sudan and Palestine, where political instability, violence, and humanitarian disasters continue to affect millions of people. The funds raised from the event will go directly to organisations working on the ground to provide much-needed medical aid, resources for children, and support for displaced families. The Sudanese Americans Physicians Association and the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund are both highly respected non-profit organisations that have been doing critical work for years, and the event will help amplify their efforts.

Mustafa’s role as both an artist and activist is something that has been well-documented in his music. His debut album Dunya was celebrated not only for its emotional depth but also for its political messaging, touching on themes of displacement, belonging, and survival. As he reflected in an interview with NME, his songwriting process is one of grace, despite the heavy emotions that often fuel his work. “Writing the songs forms the blueprint for how I walk back into those memories,” he said. “In that way, it serves as a great mercy upon me.”

For anyone lucky enough to attend, this is an event that promises to be unforgettable both musically and emotionally. It’s also a chance to be part of something much bigger than just a concert, as the funds raised will go directly toward helping those who need it most.
