Nobel Introduces Nine-Month-Old Son During Emotional Concert

Singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel created a deeply personal moment at a recent concert when he introduced his nine-month-old son to the audience and performed the much-loved song ‘Baba’ while holding the child in his arms.

The unexpected appearance took place during a concert organised at a private university, where Nobel had been performing for an audience of students and music fans. What began as a conventional live musical programme took an intimate turn when the singer paused to share a glimpse of his family life with those gathered at the venue.

In a video recorded during the event, Nobel can be seen speaking to the audience while holding a microphone. He revealed that he had become a father and said his son was nine months old. As the child was present at the concert, Nobel explained that he wanted to introduce him to the audience.

The singer then moved towards the back of the stage and returned carrying his son. Holding the child close, he introduced him as ‘Nobel Junior’. The announcement prompted loud applause and enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, many of whom immediately took out their mobile phones to capture the unusual and emotional moment.

Nobel then began performing ‘Baba’, a popular song closely associated with Nagar Baul frontman James. The choice proved particularly poignant in the circumstances. With his young son resting in his arms, Nobel delivered the song in a setting that gave its father-child theme an unmistakably personal meaning.

As the performance continued, Nobel kept the child close to him. Audience members responded by switching on the lights of their mobile phones, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere across the venue. Several spectators also recorded the performance, and clips of the moment later circulated on social media, attracting attention from the singer’s followers.

The episode offered fans a rare glimpse into Nobel’s life away from the stage. Although he is known primarily for his musical performances and public appearances, he had largely kept his son away from the spotlight since becoming a father.

News that Nobel and his wife, Israt Jahan Priya, were expecting a child first emerged in June last year. Since then, details about their family life have remained relatively private. His decision to introduce his son publicly, therefore, came as a surprise to many concertgoers.

Rather than making a formal announcement away from the stage, Nobel chose to share the occasion in the middle of a live performance. The moment was made all the more meaningful by his decision to sing ‘Baba’, a song that carries strong emotional associations for Bangladeshi music lovers and is widely recognised through James’s rendition.

The performance consequently became more than a routine concert appearance. It brought together Nobel’s identity as a singer and his new experience of fatherhood in a spontaneous moment shared with his audience. For those present, seeing the artist perform while affectionately holding his nine-month-old son transformed the concert into an unusually intimate experience.

The emotional scene also resonated with fans because of its simplicity. There was no elaborate staging or planned spectacle; instead, the focus remained on a father introducing his child and expressing that bond through music. The audience’s enthusiastic response and the subsequent circulation of video clips online showed how strongly the moment connected with Nobel’s supporters.

For Nobel, the appearance marked a notable public moment in his journey as a new father. For his audience, it offered a rare and touching glimpse into a more personal side of the singer, turning an ordinary concert into a memorable celebration of music, family and fatherhood.
