In the wake of the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft on the campus of Milestone School and College in the Diabari area of the capital, the government has declared Tuesday, 22 July as a day of national mourning.
On this day, the national flag will be flown at half-mast across all government, semi-government, and autonomous institutions, as well as educational establishments throughout the country. The same protocol will be observed at all government and private buildings, and at Bangladeshi missions abroad.
Additionally, special prayers will be held at places of worship of all religions across the country for the victims — both the deceased and the injured.
