After Years of Silence, Jaya Ahsan Finally Reveals Her Secret Relationship

Though celebrated actress Jaya Ahsan has often spoken freely about cinema, awards, and social issues, she had long kept her personal love life away from the public eye. After years of silence, she has now revealed that she has been in a romantic relationship for quite some time.

Currently based in West Bengal, Jaya is busy with various projects. Two of her films—Dear Maa and Putulnacher Itikatha—were recently released. While promoting the films in Kolkata, she spoke to Indulge Express, stating: “Yes, there is someone in my life. We’ve been together for many years, but he is not from the media industry.”

Speaking further about love and her partner, Jaya shared that friendship is the most important foundation for a romantic relationship. “It is crucial to be friends first before becoming partners,” she explained. “Maintaining that friendship throughout life is what truly matters.”

Despite her hectic travel and shooting schedule, Jaya noted that her partner is always supportive and never complains—something she considers a rare and admirable trait.

When asked about marriage, Jaya said she currently has no plans or desire to tie the knot. “I respect the idea of living together through marriage,” she said, “but I don’t have any such plans right now. My past experiences have left me somewhat fearful of marriage.”

According to Jaya, one of the greatest strengths of their relationship is privacy. Both she and her partner value keeping their personal lives out of the public domain. Their calm temperaments and respect for each other's personal space have helped build a strong and lasting bond.
