Rajbari District Police Return 106 Recovered Mobile Phones to Owners

Rajbari Correspondent: Rajbari District Police have set a remarkable example of responsibility, integrity, and humanity. By recovering 106 lost mobile phones and returning them to their rightful owners, they have demonstrated that the police are not only law enforcers but true friends of the people.

On Wednesday (February 18) at noon, in an emotional ceremony held at the conference room of the Police Superintendent’s office, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Monjur Morshed personally handed over the recovered mobile phones to their owners.

According to sources, through General Diary (GD) entries filed at five police stations and cyber monitoring efforts, a total of 106 mobile phones were recovered. These included 46 from Rajbari Sadar Police Station, 14 from Goalanda Ghat Police Station, 9 from Pangsha Model Police Station, 24 from Kalukhali Police Station, and 13 from Baliakandi Police Station. Using advanced technology and skilled investigation, the phones were recovered from various districts. After proper verification, they were returned to their rightful owners.

Superintendent Mohammad Monjur Morshed stated, “Alongside maintaining law and order, the district police’s special team is working tirelessly to recover lost mobile phones and combat cybercrimes such as bKash fraud and Facebook hacking. Ensuring public safety is our primary goal.”

Many owners became emotional after getting their phones back. They said, “We never imagined we would recover our lost phones. Today, our trust in the police has increased many times over.”

Among those present were Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Tapas Kumar Pal and other senior officials of the district police.

Concerned citizens believe that this humanitarian initiative to win public trust and affection will undoubtedly play an important role in restoring the image of Bangladesh Police.

“Not just lost phones—people’s trust has been restored. Through the humanity of Rajbari District Police, faith has been renewed. May every police station in the country stand beside the people in the same way.”
