Sabrina Carpenter is inviting fans into a world of mischief, glamour, and suspense with a sneak peek of her upcoming music video for “House Tour.”
On Wednesday, 1 April, the 24-year-old singer and actress released a captivating teaser from her Billboard 200-topping album Man’s Best Friend. Carpenter confirmed that the full music video will premiere this Monday, promising fans a visual experience as playful and daring as the song itself.
The Instagram teaser shows Carpenter driving a striking pink van, joined by acclaimed actresses Margaret Qualley and Madelyn Cline. Qualley, celebrated for her roles in Fosse/Verdon and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is married to Jack Antonoff, the producer of “House Tour.” Cline, widely recognised for Outer Banks, rounds out the trio, alluding to a mischievous night ahead.
As the van rolls through the streets, a radio announcer sets the scene:
“It’s a not-so-pretty evening on Pretty Girl Avenue. Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighbourhood. Suspects are three young women in minimal clothes, armed and dangerous.”
The tension builds as the van reaches its mysterious destination. Cline asks: “Should we go in the backdoor?” Carpenter and Qualley respond in unison, “No,” a playful nod to the song’s chorus:
“I just want you to come inside / But never enter through the backdoor.”
Despite the teaser’s April Fool’s Day release, Carpenter confirmed that the video is no prank, writing: “No joke… house tour video this Monday.”
The timing of the release is impeccable, coinciding with Carpenter’s upcoming two headlining performances at Coachella, starting on Friday, 10 April. Fans can expect a mix of charisma, storytelling, and high-energy performances, both in the video and on stage.
