Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed that the company may soon unveil a flying car.
On Friday (31 September), while appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Musk stated that the unveiling of the new Tesla Roadster prototype will be one of the most memorable events in history.
Rogan asked whether the car will actually fly. Musk replied that it cannot be confirmed before the unveiling, but it could be the most incredible technological product.
He also mentioned that the demo of the Roadster prototype is nearly ready, and he hopes to showcase it within a few months.
Musk claims that the new Roadster incorporates technology that could outmatch even James Bond’s car.
Meanwhile, analysts fear that a proposed removal of electric vehicle tax incentives in the United States could impact Tesla’s sales.
Additionally, California-based Alef and Joby Aviation are already advancing in experimental projects for flying cars and air taxis.
On 6 November, Tesla shareholders will vote on Musk’s new $1 trillion compensation proposal.
