Local administrative teams moved swiftly to disseminate the decree after prolonged downpours triggered warnings of landslides, flash floods, and severe structural disruptions to local transport links.

Severe Downpours Disrupt Alpine Transport Lines

According to the executive order, the continuous heavy precipitation over recent days has severely compromised infrastructure across the district, rendering vital mountain roads and transit channels highly hazardous. Given the volatility of the current weather patterns and the imminent threat of catastrophic accidents, the authorities determined that an immediate closure was critical to safeguard the lives of both holidaymakers and local citizens.

The scope of the restriction is comprehensive. Beyond formal tourist complexes and scenic viewpoints, the prohibition strictly forbids domestic travellers, local tour operators, and the general public from entering any natural waterfalls, high-altitude mountain trails, riverine pathways, and geographically remote terrains. These areas are particularly susceptible to sudden mudslides and raging torrents during the monsoon peak, making rescue missions nearly impossible for emergency services under current conditions.
