The incident occurred on Monday morning at the newly constructed residence of a local chilli trader in Ward No. 5 of Sirajpur Union. The deceased was the son of the late Jebel Haque.
Circumstances Leading to the Tragedy
According to family sources, Raju had been living apart from his wife, who is currently residing at her parental home following marital discord. Ten days ago, his wife gave birth to their child. Raju, eager to see the newborn, requested photographs via mobile phone. When access to images was denied, he reportedly became upset. Subsequently, without informing his mother, he consumed poison in a fit of despair after she and his sister took the child to see him.
