A 22-year-old man tragically drowned in the Brahmaputra River on Sunday afternoon at the Khatiamari point under Fazlupur Union of Fulchhari Upazila, Gaibandha district.

Incident Summary
According to local sources, Al-Amin went to bathe in the river along with friends. During the swim, he suddenly submerged and failed to resurface. Despite immediate efforts by friends and local residents to locate him, his body was later found downstream in the Brahmaputra River.
Muktar Hossain, the Panel Chairman of Fazlupur Union Parishad, confirmed the incident to the press.
The untimely death has cast a shadow of grief over the local community.
