But this year, that anticipation turned into disappointment. Every year, he waves to his fans from Mannat’s balcony on his birthday, but this time, he didn’t appear. Not even a flying kiss—only silent waiting. Eventually, Shah Rukh Khan apologized to his fans through social media for his absence.

According to Indian media, Shah Rukh and his family are currently staying temporarily in Alibaug, away from Mannat. Rumors had been circulating—would fans miss his iconic birthday appearance from the balcony this year? Unfortunately, that turned out to be true.

On Sunday (November 2), Shah Rukh expressed his regret through his social media handle ‘X.’ He explained that authorities had informed him he wouldn’t be allowed to go outside to greet his fans.

He wrote, “So many of my beloved fans are waiting for me, but due to crowd control issues, this decision has been taken for everyone’s safety.”

Apologizing, Shah Rukh added, “I sincerely apologize to all of you. Please understand, and believe me—I will miss seeing you even more.”

Finally, he wrote, “I was eagerly waiting to meet you all and share my love. Sending lots of love to everyone.”
