BGB Deployed in Four Districts, Including Dhaka, to Maintain Law and Order

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed in Dhaka and three other districts to maintain law and order. This measure comes in response to the recent unrest in various parts of the capital and surrounding areas.

On Sunday, 16 November, BGB’s Public Relations Officer, Md. Shariful Islam, confirmed the deployment. He stated that the BGB is actively working to ensure the safety and security of the regions of Dhaka, Gopalganj, Faridpur, and Madaripur.

In the past week, there have been several incidents of violence in Dhaka, including the explosion of homemade bombs in different areas of the capital. Additionally, there have been reports of buses being set on fire on major highways and in various parts of Dhaka. These incidents have caused widespread concern about the stability of the region.

In light of these disturbances, the BGB, alongside other law enforcement agencies, is working on the ground to restore normalcy and ensure the safety of the public. The forces are focusing on preventing further violence and maintaining peace in the affected districts.
