The Election Commission (EC) has held a dialogue with six political parties, including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizens’ Party (NCP).
The dialogue began at 10:30 am on Wednesday in the conference room of the Election Commission building in Agargaon, Dhaka. It will continue until 12:30 pm. Later, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the EC will meet with six parties, including BNP and the Gan Adhikar Parishad, for another session.
According to EC sources, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, the dialogue will be held with Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh Minority Janata Party (BMJP), Insaniyat Biplob, National Citizens’ Party (NCP), Ganasanghati Andolon, and the Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM).
From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the EC will hold discussions with BNP, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Gan Adhikar Parishad (GAP), Nagorik Oikko, Bangladesh Republican Party (BRP), and the Bangladesh Socialist Party (Marxist).
