Sophie Ellis-Bextor and The Proclaimers are set to headline the 2026 edition of GuilFest, a popular music festival held in Surrey.
Festival organisers confirmed that the event will take place on 4 and 5 July 2026 at Stoke Park in Guildford. Alongside Ellis-Bextor, renowned for her hit “Murder on the Dancefloor,” the Scottish band The Proclaimers, famous for “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” will take to the stage as the Sunday headliners.
Other notable acts confirmed for the 2026 line-up include Rudimental, Kula Shaker, and The Lottery Winners, promising a diverse mix of talent across multiple genres.
“We’re getting really excited,” festival founder Tony Scott shared with BBC Radio Surrey. “It’s just so great to be back doing GuilFest again.”
After a 10-year hiatus, GuilFest made its return in 2024 following the liquidation of the company that ran the event. The 2025 festival saw performances from The Jacksons and Razorlight, while 2024 featured The Stranglers and Sam Ryder.
The 2026 festival will feature seven music stages, ensuring a vibrant and eclectic experience for festivalgoers. The festival’s comeback has already generated considerable excitement, and organisers are eager to build on the momentum as they continue to bring major acts to the heart of Surrey.
