In response to recent violent attacks on the timeless heritage of Bengali culture and free thought, one of the nation’s leading cultural organisations, Chayannat, has organised a ‘Solidarity Rally Through Song’. The event is scheduled to take place this afternoon at 4:00 PM in front of the Chayannat Cultural Centre in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi district.
The rally seeks to employ music as a language of protest and unity, bringing together citizens from across the spectrum of society. Distinguished musicians, writers, intellectuals, journalists, and other cultural activists committed to progressive thinking are expected to attend.
