Bangladesh Dominate India with Strong Futsal Performance

The inaugural edition of the SAFF Futsal Championship for both men and women is currently underway in Bangkok, Thailand. On Wednesday (14 January), Bangladesh’s men’s team played out a thrilling 4-4 draw against India. However, in the women’s division, Bangladesh’s team demonstrated clear superiority over their Indian counterparts.

On Thursday (15 January), at the Huamark Indoor Stadium, Bangladesh’s women’s team defeated India 3-1, marking an emphatic start to the tournament. The match’s standout performer was team captain Sabina Khatun, who scored twice to set Bangladesh on course for victory.
