Harry Styles Tops Charts Again With Fourth Album

Harry Styles has once again secured his position at the summit of the music industry, as his latest release, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, just one day after he hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live.

This marks Styles’ fourth consecutive solo album to debut atop the charts, a feat few artists have achieved. Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. amassed an impressive 430,000 equivalent album units in its first week, representing the highest debut since Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl opened with 4.002 million units five months ago. It also stands as the most substantial launch for a solo male artist since Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which debuted with 493,000 units in May 2025.

The album’s announcement in January followed months of speculation, with billboards and advertising campaigns appearing globally to tease lyrics from the lead single, Aperture. Just a week later, Styles released the single, offering fans a first glimpse into the 12-track project.

In tandem with the album release, Styles revealed the dates for his eagerly awaited Together Together tour. The tour will feature residencies in seven major cities across the world from May through December, including Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, Sydney, and an extensive 30-date run in New York City.

Styles’ recent accolades add to the album’s momentum. He presented Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards in February, and Aperture debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He performed the single live for the first time at the BRIT Awards last month, and celebrated the album’s launch with a one-night-only concert in Manchester, later streamed globally on Netflix.

Critical reception has been overwhelmingly positive. Jem Aswad, executive music editor at Variety, praised the album as “slow-burning but satisfying,” noting that it “reveals itself gradually, and there’s plenty for fans to grab onto.” Aswad added, “Initially, fans may greet this album with confusion or hesitant enthusiasm, because it may not be what they were dreaming of. But do we really want the same birthday present every year?”
