IFIC Bank has expanded its retail banking network with the inauguration of a new automated teller machine (ATM) booth at Monipuripara in Dhaka, aimed at improving customer convenience and ensuring faster access to essential banking services.
The ATM booth was formally inaugurated on Saturday, 2 May 2026, according to a media release issued by the bank. The ceremony was led by Kazi Md. Mahboob Kasem, FCA, who serves as Independent Director of IFIC Bank.
Senior officials of the bank were present at the inauguration. These included Syed Mansur Mustafa, Managing Director of IFIC Bank, and Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business & Head of Operations. Their presence reflected the institution’s operational emphasis on expanding automated and customer-centric banking infrastructure.
The event was also attended by other officials of IFIC Bank, along with distinguished guests and customers. The gathering marked the formal introduction of the ATM facility into the Monipuripara area, contributing to the availability of modern banking services in the locality.
The newly established ATM booth is intended to provide customers with round-the-clock access to a range of core financial services. These include cash withdrawal, fund transfers between IFIC Bank accounts as well as to accounts held with other banks, balance enquiries, and mini statement issuance. In addition, the booth offers card-related functionalities such as card activation and PIN change services.
Such facilities are designed to reduce the need for in-branch visits for routine banking transactions, thereby improving efficiency and saving time for customers. The expansion of ATM services also supports broader efforts within the banking sector to promote self-service banking channels and enhance financial accessibility in urban areas.
