Popular Life Organises Service Cell Conference, Hands Over Insurance Claims

Popular Life Insurance Company Limited organised its Service Cell In-Charge Conference alongside the formal distribution of insurance claim cheques to policyholders. The programme was held on Monday (4 May) at the auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in Dhaka.

The event served as an internal coordination platform for service cell officials while also facilitating the handover of claim settlement cheques to eligible insurance customers. It formed part of the company’s ongoing operational activities relating to service delivery and claims management.

The chief guest of the programme was Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury. He attended the event in his capacity as Chairman of the organisation and formally participated in the proceedings.

The special guests included B M Yousuf Ali, who also holds the position of President of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum. Their presence reflected the involvement of the company’s top executive leadership in the event.

The conference was presided over by B M Shaukat Ali. The session was attended by a wide range of senior officials from different departments of the organisation, including audit, finance, administration, and company secretarial functions.

The programme brought together additional managing directors, senior deputy managing directors, and other senior executives, highlighting cross-departmental participation in discussions related to service cell operations and organisational coordination.

During the programme, emphasis was placed on service cell coordination and the structured handling of insurance claim processes. The inclusion of claim cheque distribution within the same event highlighted the company’s combined focus on administrative review and customer settlement procedures.

The conference concluded with participation from senior management across multiple divisions, reflecting the organisation’s internal engagement in strengthening service mechanisms and ensuring the smooth execution of insurance-related responsibilities.
