Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Military Convoys Across Balochistan Amid Rising Tensions with India

Amid escalating tensions with India, Pakistan finds itself facing a severe internal security crisis, with multiple coordinated attacks targeting its military convoys in Balochistan. The attacks coincide with a series of retaliatory strikes by India, resulting in significant casualties and infrastructure damage across Pakistan’s major cities, including Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, and Karachi. The situation has led to widespread power outages in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and increased military activity along the border.

Key Incidents in Balochistan:

Incident Location Details
Attack on Frontier Corps HQ Quetta Intense gunfire and multiple explosions reported; assailants targeted the main HQ.
Check Post Attack Captain Safar Khan Check Post, Qambarani Road, Jangal Bagh Two powerful explosions reported; security personnel engaged in heavy exchange of fire.
Security Post Attack Karani Road, Hazara Town Details remain unclear, but significant damage suspected.
Anti-Narcotics Force Camp Assault Near Arif Gali, Borma Hotel Gunmen targeted the camp; details still emerging.
Spinny Road Explosion Spinny Road One injured, three others wounded in an explosion.

India’s Counterattack:
India has reportedly launched a significant counteroffensive following a series of attempted drone and missile strikes from Pakistan, which were intercepted by the Indian defence system late Thursday. Key strikes include:

Major Cities Targeted: Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, and Karachi were hit, resulting in widespread destruction.

PoK Blackout: Reports indicate a complete blackout across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

AWACS Downed: An airborne early warning and control aircraft (AWACS) of the Pakistan Air Force was shot down over Punjab province.

Fighter Jets Downed: Three Pakistani fighter jets were reportedly brought down, including one near Pokhran’s Lathi in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Karachi Port Under Attack: Explosions reported near Karachi Port, marking the first time the Indian Navy has opened a front against Pakistan since 1971.

With these escalating attacks on multiple fronts, Pakistan faces mounting pressure both from within its borders and across the Line of Control (LoC) with India. The situation remains highly volatile, with both sides mobilising forces in anticipation of further escalations.
