First Vote of the Youth Should Be for the ‘Paddy Sheaf’: Tareq Rahman

BNP’s Acting Chairman, Tareq Rahman, has instructed the leaders and activists of the student wing, Chhatra Dal, to spread the call nationwide that the first vote of the youth should be cast for the ‘Paddy Sheaf’ symbol.

He conveyed this message via video conference during a Chhatra Dal rally held in Shahbagh, Dhaka on Sunday (3 August).

9 With courage and honesty, the public will stand beside you.
10 The country seeks quality politics, not division or revenge.

 

Tareq Rahman urged the youth and student leaders to take bold and honest steps, assuring them of popular support if they do so. He emphasised that the people now desire quality politics from political parties, rejecting divisive and vindictive politics.

This message underlines the BNP’s focus on empowering the youth and reforming education, employment, and culture sectors, projecting a vision for the future of Bangladesh.
