Dev–Subhashree Starrer Dhumketu Smashes All Box Office Records in Just Two Days

The much-anticipated Tollywood film Dhumketu, starring the immensely popular on-screen duo Dev and Subhashree, has lived up to expectations and created a storm at the box office. A film that had been completed almost a decade ago finally saw the light of day in 2025—and the audience response has been nothing short of historic.

On its very first day of release, director Kaushik Ganguly’s Dhumketu became the highest-grossing film in the history of Bengali cinema.
