The figures were released on Saturday (16 August) by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

So far this month:
- 4,932 patients have been admitted with dengue
- 21 deaths have been recorded
- Of the 1,238 patients currently under treatment:
- 412 are in Dhaka
- 826 are outside Dhaka in other divisions
