President Mohammad Shahabuddin has personally inquired about the health condition of Nurul Haque Nur, President of the Gonadhikar Parishad.
The call took place on Sunday, 31 August, at 10:00 am, during which the President also confirmed that the government is taking steps to arrange advanced medical treatment abroad for Nur.
According to Abu Hanif, Senior Council Member and Media Coordinator of the Gonadhikar Parishad, the telephone conversation lasted seven minutes.
He stated: “The President inquired about Nurul Haque Nur’s condition and assured that arrangements are being made for his treatment abroad. He also conveyed his deep concern and strong condemnation of the attack on Nur.”
