The District Detective Branch (DB) of police has apprehended the wife of a local Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader and her Rohingya accomplice during an anti-narcotics raid in Ramu Upazila, Cox’s Bazar. Law enforcement officials recovered a substantial consignment of 40,000 Yaba pills during the operation.
Acting on a precise tip-off, a team from the District Detective Branch conducted a sudden raid at approximately 9:30 pm on Wednesday, 20 May. The operation took place at the residence of Nazrul Islam, located in Hazirpara village under the Kachhapia Union of Ramu Upazila.
