EC to Hold Dialogue with 81 Domestic Observer Organisations Tomorrow

In anticipation of the upcoming national parliamentary election, the Election Commission (EC) is set to hold a dialogue with domestic election observer organisations. A total of 81 organisations have been invited to participate in the discussion.

Assistant Director of the EC’s Public Relations Wing, Ashadul Haque, confirmed this information on Monday (24 November).

The EC stated that the dialogue will take place on Tuesday (25 November) at the Election Commission building in Agargaon, Dhaka. The discussions will be conducted throughout the day, covering both morning and afternoon sessions with the 81 observer organisations.

The commission explained that the initiative aims to collect opinions and suggestions regarding election observation. Recommendations received from the observers will be considered by the commission in shaping a framework for a fair and transparent election.
