Iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses is set to release two new songs on 2 December 2025, nearly two decades after their last album, Chinese Democracy (2008). The new tracks, “Nothin’” and “Atlas,” mark the band’s first new music since their 2023 singles “The General” and “Perhaps.”

Atlas is reportedly inspired by “Atlas Shrugged,” a track from the Chinese Democracy sessions, which had leaked as a demo in 2019. That version featured Queen guitarist Brian May alongside lead singer Axl Rose. Nothin’, teased earlier this year by bassist Duff McKagan, has yet to be confirmed in terms of its writing or recording date.

The new songs will be part of Guns N’ Roses' 2026 tour setlist, alongside classic hits like “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Welcome to the Jungle.” The band’s 2026 tour will include a stop at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on 26 July in Saratoga Springs, New York. Tickets will be available on 5 December via Ticketmaster.

Since reuniting in 2016, Guns N’ Roses has released six songs, but there has been no official announcement regarding a full album. Chinese Democracy remains their only full-length release since their last studio album in 1993.

Despite the gap between releases, guitarist Slash recently revealed the band has plenty of material, but that getting everyone to focus on a new album requires a certain level of discipline. "You can never plan ahead with Guns. Every time we’ve done that, it falls apart," he said in a recent interview with Guitar World.

As one of the best-selling rock bands of all time, Guns N’ Roses is known for their monumental '80s and '90s hits, such as “November Rain” and “Paradise City.” The current lineup includes Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Slash, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Isaac Carpenter, and Melissa Reese. Fans worldwide are excited to see what these new tracks bring to the legendary group’s extensive setlist.
