Dhaka, 7 December: Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has launched a stall at the 12th National Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Fair, a seven-day event organized by the SME Foundation. The bank stated that the stall aims to provide entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and visitors with information about its modern technology-based services and investment opportunities in SMEs.
Mr Md Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the stall on Sunday at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center by cutting the ribbon. The ceremony was attended by Abu Sayed Md Idris, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of SME Investment Wing; Md Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Senior Executive Vice President; Md Maznuzzaman and Muhammad Zakir Hussain, Executive Vice Presidents; Nazrul Islam, Senior Vice President; and other senior officials.
The stall offers detailed information on the bank’s digital banking services, technology-driven transactions, and various SME investment opportunities. Entrepreneurs visiting the fair can also receive guidance on financing, loan facilities, and business consultancy directly from bank representatives. The fair aims to support the growth of SMEs and facilitate the expansion of their business operations.
