Man Dies Following Dispute With Nephew in Jhenaidah

An altercation regarding financial transactions between relatives has resulted in the death of an elderly man in Kamalhat village, situated within the Kaliganj Upazila of Jhenaidah district. The deceased has been identified as Niamat Ullah, the son of the late Iman Ali, residing in the Kamalhat area under the Kola Union.

Niamat Ullah sustained severe internal and external injuries from the assault and collapsed at the scene. Local residents rushed to his assistance, retrieved him from the location, and arranged for immediate transportation to the nearest hospital. However, Niamat Ullah succumbed to his injuries whilst en route to the medical facility and was pronounced dead before arrival.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Moniruzzaman oversaw the preliminary procedures and confirmed that law enforcement officials had recovered the body of the deceased. The remains were subsequently transported to the police station for official documentation and structural processing.

The police administration has mandated a post-mortem examination to determine the exact physiological cause of death. The body has been transferred to the Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital morgue for the autopsy procedure.
