Massive Crowd Gathers at Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Grand Conference in Suhrawardy

The ‘International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Grand Conference’ has commenced at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka. The religious gathering was officially inaugurated at 9:00 am on Saturday and will continue until 2:00 pm. Scholars from Bangladesh and five other countries are participating in the event.

From early morning, devout Muslims and scholars from different parts of the country have been arriving at the conference venue.

Many distinguished local and international scholars are attending the grand conference, including— Maulana Fazlur Rahman, member of Pakistan’s National Assembly and president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan; Islamic thinker Maulana Ilyas Gumman; Secretary General of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia Maulana Hanif Jalandhari; Vice Principal of Yusuf Binuri Town Madrasah Ahmad Yusuf Binuri; Mufti Abul Qasem Nomani, Principal of Darul Uloom Deoband, India; Maulana Mahmood Madani, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind; International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Movement representatives; Vice Emir Shaikh Abdur Rauf Makki from Saudi Arabia; and Professor Shaikh Musab Nabil Ibrahim from Al-Azhar University, Egypt.

Among the country’s leading scholars are Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Amir Maulana Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari; Islami Andolan Bangladesh Amir Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim; Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Amir Maulana Mamunul Haque; Principal of Darul Uloom Hathazari Maulana Khalil Ahmad Quraishi; Chairman of Al-Haiatul Ulya and Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia Bangladesh Maulana Mahmudul Hasan; and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek.

The conference is presided over by Maulana Abdul Hamid (Pir Saheb, Madhupur), Convener of the United Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Council and Amir of the Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Protection Committee Bangladesh.
