OPETH UNVEILS ANIMATED VIDEO FOR ‘§3’ TO MARK ALBUM ANNIVERSARY

To mark the one-year anniversary of The Last Will and Testament, Swedish progressive metal band OPETH has unveiled a striking new animated music video for the track ‘§3’. The video, crafted by Absynthe Moon Media, brings to life the album’s intricate narrative, offering a visual interpretation of the story that has captivated fans since its release in November 2024.

The animated video delves into the central family drama at the heart of the album, set during the reading of a 1920s patriarch's will. It highlights the shifting dynamics and underlying tensions within the family, allowing viewers to interpret the subtle details of the plot at their own pace.

Directed by Mikael Åkerfeldt, OPETH’s frontman and the mastermind behind the album’s concept, the video enhances the themes explored in The Last Will and Testament.
