Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly become embroiled in a legal complication over a land purchase in Alibaug, Mumbai. Currently, Suhana is focused on her upcoming film, King, but this legal issue has drawn media attention.
Suhana purchased a plot of land in Alibaug for ₹12.91 crore. According to Indian media reports, the land’s ownership is currently under administrative control, and it was originally designated exclusively for agricultural purposes by local farmers. This is the basis of the legal challenge Suhana now faces.
Further reports suggest that Suhana acquired the land from three sisters — Anjali, Rekha, and Priya — who allegedly inherited it from their parents. Questions have arisen regarding the legitimacy of the transfer, leaving the exact ownership unclear.
Suhana has already paid a stamp duty of ₹77.46 lakh for the land. Intriguingly, during the purchase process, she was listed in official documents as a farmer, which has further complicated the matter. Authorities have now initiated an investigation into the ownership details, and a report is expected to be submitted soon.
This purchase marks Suhana’s first independently owned plot of land. Within a year of this acquisition, she also purchased a house in Alibaug for ₹10 crore, expanding her real estate holdings in the area.
