Tehran Vows Continued Strikes Until Enemies’ Total Defeat

Published: 01 Mar 2026, 12:34 am

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared a state of "uninterrupted" warfare following a massive missile barrage targeting United States and Israeli military assets across the Middle East. This escalation follows a joint offensive by Washington and Tel Aviv on Iranian soil, an act Tehran has denounced as a flagrant violation of international sovereignty.

A Regional Firestorm

In an official statement, the IRGC asserted that its missile forces successfully struck high-value targets in at least six different nations. The Iranian leadership has made its position clear: every American military asset within the region is now deemed a legitimate target for their armed forces.

The state-run Fars News Agency confirmed that the strikes hit several of the most significant Western military installations in the world. This includes the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar—the largest US facility in the Middle East—alongside major hubs in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

"The operation will continue without pause until the enemy is decisively and finally defeated," the IRGC statement read, signaling a shift from tactical retaliation to a broader strategic offensive.

Reported Casualties and Strategic Impact

While the full extent of the damage remains under assessment, Al Jazeera reported at least one fatality following a strike in Abu Dhabi. Simultaneously, explosions rocked the Saudi capital, Riyadh, while the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain and several installations in Jordan were reportedly within the Iranian crosshairs.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has justified the barrage as a "legitimate right" under the United Nations Charter, framing it as a necessary defense against "Zionist and American aggression."

Geopolitical Implications

The scale of this retaliation marks a perilous new chapter in Middle Eastern stability. By targeting multiple sovereign territories simultaneously, Iran is attempting to demonstrate a "no-go zone" for Western forces. International observers remain deeply concerned that this cycle of kinetic strikes—moving beyond proxy conflicts into direct state-on-state confrontation—could trigger a wider continental war.
