Trump Warns Iran of Escalating Military Strikes

US President Donald Trump has issued his strongest warning yet over the ongoing military campaign against Iran, declaring that Washington is prepared to intensify its attacks unless Tehran immediately returns to negotiations.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said the United States would target Iran’s major power stations and bridges if the Iranian leadership refused to resume talks and reach an agreement. His remarks represent one of the clearest indications so far that the United States is prepared to expand its military objectives beyond its current operations.

Speaking in his characteristic forceful style, Trump said: “Next week is going to be truly devastating for them. Our targets will be the country’s power stations and bridges. If they do not come to the negotiating table and reach an agreement, we will destroy all of their power stations and bridges.”
