Valentine’s Release Unites Abir Sadaf and Antara

A highly anticipated romantic track, “Ami Pakhi Hobo”, is set to make its debut this Valentine’s Day, heralding the first-ever vocal collaboration between acclaimed singer Abir Sadaf and the celebrated playback artist Debosrie Antara. Produced by the renowned Bangladeshi band Xcape, the song is accompanied by a visually striking music video created entirely through artificial intelligence, marking a notable convergence of music and cutting-edge technology.

The lyrical composition of “Ami Pakhi Hobo” is credited to journalist and lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon, whose evocative words convey themes of love, longing, and emotional liberation. The melody and musical arrangement were co-created by Kazi Rintu, Xcape’s guitarist, in collaboration with Abir Sadaf, blending contemporary band instrumentation with heartfelt vocals. Bakhtiar Hossain handled the mixing and mastering of the track, ensuring a polished auditory experience, while the AI-driven visual production was executed by Hyper Cuts Production, bringing a dynamic, modern aesthetic to the video.

Though strategically released on Valentine’s Day, the song’s appeal extends beyond a seasonal context. It forms part of an international musical initiative titled “Strings Beyond Borders”—also referred to as Music Without Passport—designed to foster cross-cultural collaborations and transcend geographic and linguistic boundaries.

Speaking about the project, Abir Sadaf remarked, “The vision behind this song diverges from conventional releases. We have attempted to create something that resonates deeply with listeners, beyond a single day or festival. I am confident that audiences will find both the music and its visual narrative engaging and relatable.”

For Debosrie Antara, “Ami Pakhi Hobo” represents a significant comeback after a hiatus from the music scene. She last captured widespread attention in 2024 with the immensely popular playback song “Laage Ura Dhura” from the Shakib Khan-starrer Toofan. Health concerns subsequently required her to step back from regular music production.
