NCP Held Responsible for Interim Government’s Failures: Hasnat Abdullah

Hasnat Abdullah, Chief Organiser of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP) for the southern region, has stated that despite the participation of BNP and other parties, his party is being held accountable for all failures and shortcomings of the interim government.

He made the remarks on Saturday (20 September) during the third dialogue session of “Youth State Thinking” held at the Diploma Engineers Institute in Kakrail, Dhaka.

Abdullah raised concerns about media trials and character assassination of NCP leaders. He specifically mentioned the media coverage of their meeting with former US Ambassador Peter Haas in Cox’s Bazar on 5 August, arguing that the reporting was biased.
