Newborn Baby Found in Rice Field After Hearing Crying Sound

A newborn baby was found in a rice field in the Jarullapur village of Khodagach Union, Mithapukur, Rangpur. On Tuesday morning, a baby boy was discovered in the middle of the rice field after local people heard his cries. The baby was immediately taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for medical treatment.

The police believe the baby is less than two days old and are trying to identify the child.

According to local sources, Abdul Karim, a farmer, was passing by the rice field in the morning when he suddenly heard the crying sound of a newborn. Upon rushing to the spot, he found a healthy baby boy lying under the open sky in the middle of the field. The news quickly spread, and many people rushed to the scene. Local residents provided initial care to the baby and then sent him to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. The baby is currently in good health, but his identity remains unknown.

Mithapukur Police Station’s OC, Nure Alam Siddique, confirmed the incident. He said, “The newborn has been admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital. The police are working to identify the baby.”
