Dhaka, 26 January 2026: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 20-year-old patient, Najmin Akter, tragically lost her life after reportedly jumping from the eighth floor of the newly constructed building of Dhaka Medical College (Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Dhaka). The incident occurred on Sunday, 25 January, around 7:45 pm. Najmin, originally from Galachipa Upazila, Patuakhali District, was a mother to a four-month-old daughter.
