The Bangladesh national cricket team is set to embark on a comprehensive tour of South Africa this November–December, featuring a full spectrum of international fixtures across all three formats. The tour will include a two-match Test series, followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
The action will commence in Johannesburg on 15 November with the first Test, while the second Test is scheduled for Centurion, beginning on 23 November. The Test leg of the tour is particularly notable as Bangladesh will play in Centurion for the first time in 18 years, marking a significant moment in the team’s history.
Following the red-ball series, the white-ball contests will take place across various venues. The ODI series will run from 1 to 7 December, with matches in East London, Gqeberha, and Cape Town. The T20I series will then follow, spanning 10–13 December, with fixtures in Kimberley, Benoni, and concluding in Centurion.
South Africa, the current holders of the T20 World Cup, are enjoying exceptional form in the ongoing tournament, highlighted by a commanding 76-run victory over India in the Super Eight stage. The nation’s cricket board has subsequently released the full international schedule for 2026–27, ensuring a busy home season following Bangladesh’s tour. After hosting Bangladesh, the Proteas will face England in a three-match Test series, followed by a three-match ODI series to round off the domestic season.
