Narsingdi: Another Suspect Arrested in Girl’s Murder

In a significant development in Narsingdi, law enforcement authorities have apprehended another suspect in connection with the abduction, rape, and murder of a teenage girl. The operation was conducted late on Sunday night in Panchdona, Sadar Upazila, by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), bringing the total number of arrested individuals in the case to eight.

The information was confirmed on Monday through an official press release by Deputy Police Superintendent Dipak Chandra Majumdar, Camp Commander of RAB-11 Narsingdi.

The newly apprehended suspect has been identified as Ishak, also known as Isha, aged 40, a resident of Madhabdi, Sadar Upazila, Narsingdi. With the latest arrest, the list of detained suspects in the case has reached eight, while one accused remains at large. Madhabdi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kamal Hossain stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fugitive.
