A tragic road accident in Bogura’s Nandigram Upazila claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy named Utsab on Sunday, 22 March. The incident occurred around midday on the Kadamkuri-Penghazki regional road near Dhundar Bazar in Burail Union.

Utsab, the son of Bikash Chandra from Maria village, was cycling to a religious ceremony in the neighbouring Bonkuri village when the accident took place. He was thrown from his bicycle and crushed under the rear wheels of the truck, dying instantly at the scene.

Police promptly arrived at the site and recovered his body, which was subsequently sent to the morgue of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura for post-mortem examination.
