Chief Adviser to Read ‘July Declaration’ This Evening

Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, will read the ‘July Declaration’ today, Tuesday, 5 August, at 5:00 pm.

This information was shared on Monday evening (4 August) via a post on the verified Facebook page of the Chief Adviser.

The announcement states that on the occasion of July People’s Uprising Day, the historic July Declaration will be read at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital city.

At 5:00 pm, the declaration will be read by Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, in the presence of representatives from all political parties, families of the July martyrs, and wounded freedom fighters.

In addition, a day-long cultural programme has been organised at Manik Mia Avenue to commemorate the July People’s Uprising Day.

On behalf of the Chief Adviser, everyone—children, adolescents, youth, and elderly men and women across the country—is warmly invited to join the historic celebrations of this significant day.
