Bangladeshi musicians and bands are set to embark on an extensive series of international concerts as part of this year’s Eid celebrations, bringing festive musical programmes to diaspora communities across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and beyond. The tours, spanning several months, feature leading bands and solo performers who are preparing for a packed global schedule.
Among the prominent acts, the band Ark is preparing for a four-month United States tour beginning 15 June, with performances scheduled across multiple cities on 4 and 18 July, 1 and 22 August, and 10 September. The group’s vocalist Hasan (Ark vocalist) emphasised that international concerts remain crucial for sustaining the professional music ecosystem, describing live performances abroad as a key source of industry viability.
In parallel, major rock bands including Nagar Baul, Artcell, and Ashes are jointly travelling to North America to meet long-standing demand among expatriate fans. Separately, Nagar Baul’s frontman James (Bangladeshi musician) is scheduled for a European tour beginning in London, followed by performances in Portugal and other locations, with additional shows in Australia also under discussion.
The band Artcell will also perform in Canada from mid-September, starting in Vancouver on 13 September, with further shows planned in Toronto, Calgary and other cities.
The band Ashes will begin its European tour earlier, with confirmed performances in Rome, Venice and Paris, starting 16 June.
On the solo front, rising artist Pritom Hasan has already commenced his North American tour, beginning in Dallas, Texas on 31 May, and is expected to perform across multiple US states as well as in Canada.
Singer Sania Sultana Liza is also undertaking a European tour starting in Paris on 22 June, followed by performances in Belgium, Switzerland and Spain alongside fellow musicians including Rahul Ananda of Joler Gaan.
Other notable appearances include Kamruzzaman Rabbi and Sagar Baul performing in London at the “Bangla Craze UK Eid Concert 2026” on 7 June, while Runa Laila is scheduled for concerts in Sydney and Melbourne in August.
Meanwhile, several other artists including Imran Mahmudul, Shironamhin, and additional emerging performers are also set to tour North America, Europe, and Oceania, reflecting a broad expansion of Bangladeshi live music on the global stage.
