In Chaugachha, Jessore, a collision between a sand-carrying trolley and a motorcycle claimed the lives of two teenagers. The accident occurred on Friday (October 24) around 11:30 a.m. in Jahangirpur village of the upazila.
The deceased have been identified as Iman Hossain (15), son of Intaj Hossain from Bashapol Kaliakundu village, and Ashraful Islam (15), son of Tarikul Islam.
Anowar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Chaugachha Police Station, stated that Iman and Ashraful were riding their motorcycle to Chaugachha market. When they reached Bhadra Mor in Jahangirpur, their motorcycle collided head-on with a sand-carrying trolley, resulting in their instant deaths.
The OC added that police recovered the bodies from the scene and sent them to the Upazila Health Complex. Legal action is underway in connection with the incident.
