Colombo Set for Cricket’s Most Anticipated Match

The 2026 T20 World Cup is shaping up as one of the most anticipated tournaments in cricket history, with the most awaited encounter being the India versus Pakistan clash. While the ICC has yet to release the full fixture list, sources confirm that this blockbuster match is scheduled for 15 February 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka, as co-host, provides a neutral venue for the historic rivalry. The BCCI and PCB have both agreed that the fixture should be played outside India and Pakistan, giving the game an impartial setting. Colombo is considered the most likely host city for the clash.

Semifinals will be held at Mumbai and a Sri Lankan venue yet to be finalised.
