Date Announced for Publication of 47th BCS Preliminary Exam Results

The 47th BCS Preliminary Examination was held on 19 September, with a total of 374,747 candidates participating. The vast number of candidates are now eagerly awaiting their results.

Although the Public Service Commission (PSC) has not officially announced the exact date for the result publication, according to the PSC’s roadmap, the preliminary results are expected to be released by 28 September.

PSC Roadmap and Progress

  • In June, the PSC published a roadmap for six BCS examinations, which included the schedule for the 47th BCS Preliminary Examination on 19 September.
  • The PSC was able to conduct the examination on the scheduled date.
  • Following the roadmap, the PSC plans to publish the preliminary results of the 47th BCS by 28 September.

A PSC member, who wished to remain anonymous, told the media on Saturday night (20 September): “The PSC is steadily working to complete all pending BCS examinations according to the roadmap. For instance, the final results of the 44th BCS were published ahead of the scheduled date.”

He further added: “We also successfully published the written exam results of the 45th BCS within the stipulated time. The 46th BCS written exam has been conducted, and results are expected by mid-December. Most recently, the 47th BCS Preliminary Exam has been completed, and its results will be published by 28 September.”
