SBAC Bank Celebrates Fourteen-Year Journey

SBAC Bank PLC has ushered in its fourteenth year of operations, marking the milestone with a “Meet the Press” event held at its head office on Wednesday. The অনুষ্ঠা served not only as a celebration of longevity but also as an opportunity for the bank’s leadership to outline its vision for sustained growth in an increasingly competitive financial landscape.

The programme was chaired by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr S. M. Mainul Kabir, who reflected on the bank’s steady progression since its establishment. He noted that SBAC Bank has prioritised disciplined expansion, operational resilience, and customer-focused innovation as the cornerstones of its development. Over the years, the bank has sought to strengthen its institutional capabilities while adapting to evolving market demands and regulatory expectations.

Engr. Md. Moklesur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended the event as chief guest. In his remarks, he underscored the importance of strategic governance and long-term planning in ensuring the bank’s continued success. He emphasised that a balanced approach—combining prudent risk management with forward-looking investment—remains essential in navigating both domestic and global economic uncertainties.

The event was also attended by Additional Managing Director Mr Md. Rabiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director Mr Md. Altaf Hossain Bhuiyan, and other senior কর্মকর্তারা, including divisional heads. Their উপস্থিতি reflected a unified leadership committed to advancing the bank’s strategic priorities and strengthening its organisational foundation.

Since its inception, SBAC Bank has gradually expanded its footprint across Bangladesh, diversifying its services across retail, corporate, and small and medium-sized enterprise segments. The institution has also invested in digital banking solutions, aiming to enhance efficiency, improve customer experience, and broaden financial inclusion.
